MVMA, MOVTA TO FORM VETERINARY TECHNICIAN TASK FORCE JEFFERSON CITY, MO, October 27 — On October 21, 2021, Dr. Marcy Hammerle, MVMA President and Veterinary Technician & Practice Staff (VTPS) Committee Chair, Mrs. Stephanie Gilliam, RVTg, MoVTA Legislative Chair, and Julie Braun, MVMA Executive Director, met with the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board to discuss ideas of improving veterinary technician utilization. The meeting went well, and MVMA President, Dr. Marcy Hammerle, has created a veterinary technician task force to work on a specific set of objectives addressing technician utilization. MoVTA executive board members will be working with the MVMA on this taskforce, and we are excited to get to work on this. Stay tuned for updates! ### |
